Get ready for some exciting art events in Downtown Lakeland Fl.
The first event is the Downtown Lakeland Art Festival Sept 6 & 7 on Kentucky Ave between Main & Lemon Street.
The event begins at 10 AM each day and runs until 5 PM. and will feature many local artists & art organizations such as Florida Dance Theater, Opera Theater of Lakeland, Polk Museum of Art, Lakeland Community Theater, Polk Theater, Arts in Medicine and much more. After viewing the art you can enjoy a free chair massage courtesy of The Chambers House.
J Rowan Galleries, Inc. in conjunction with Arts in Medicine and the Watson Clinic Foundation are proud to present the international exhibit "Oncology on Canvas". The opening reception for the show is October 3, 2008 from 6-9 PM. Join us in the gallery and on Kentucky Ave to view the exhibit. We will have a large blank canvas on the street so that everyone can express there thoughts as they view the art work.
